SuperStar ~ is now ~ DEMI-GOD

He can shoot bullets with his finger, kill with a handbag, make mosquitoes apologise, clone himself a hundred times, even seduce the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with the cheesy line, 'come on, baby, give a beautiful kiss to the king'. So is it surprising that Rajinikanth, 61, has just starred in India's most expensive film which is also set to become India's most successful movie?
Three years after his last big hit, the Rs 60-crore, 1,000-print Sivaji: The Boss made Rs 128 crore; two years after the Rs 64-crore Kuselan tanked at the box office making just Rs 8 crore; and a year after his daughter's ambitious animated film Sultan ran into production and legal troubles, Shankar's Endhiran: The Robot has created a buzz that will translate into a Rs 300- crore box office gross on Sun Pictures' publicly listed balance sheet and act as a neat little pre-Diwali gift to Tamil Nadu's ruling family.

With the opening weekend gross alone being Rs 90 crore, he has also proved himself worthy of the tag of being Asia's second highest paid actor at Rs 45 crore. Whether it is shooting down policemen as the evil robot with the memorable Terminator-like line, 'Happy Diwali, folks,' or wooing Aishwarya with copies of A Briefer History of Time and Freakonomics, the hero-of-10-wigs has proved himself irresistible to all psychographics, young and old, MIT alumni and Mylapore maamis, urban sophisticates and rural fanatics.

Sun's marketing muscle, enveloping the state in surround sound, helped. Sun Pictures is part of the Sun TV network, which owns a dozen newspapers and magazines, 21 TV channels, 43 FM radio stations and controls 30 per cent of movie theatres in Tamil Nadu. Sun Network channels-Sun TV, K TV and Gemini TV-have been running trailers, its magazines like Kungumam, newspaper Dinakaran and the evening daily Tamil Murasu have done cover stories, and even the film's five-minute trailer, released in over 20 per cent theatres in Tamil Nadu, ran housefull at Rs 120 a ticket. Everything was to be done bigger and better, whether it was A.R. Rahman's music, Resul Pookutty's sound or Stan Winston Studio's special effects, making it a milestone in Indian cinema.
What's more, the film was smartly pre-sold. The Hindi theatrical rights were sold to Manohar Prasad's Gemini Film Circuit for Rs 23 crore, Telugu rights to Thota Kanna Rao of Sri Krishna Traders for Rs 27 crore, Kannada and Malayalam for Rs 14 crore, the Tamil overseas rights for Rs 17 crore, the music rights for Rs 10 crore, home video in all languages for Rs 17 crore, and tv rights for Rs 25 crore.
In Tamil Nadu, Sun Pictures retained the distribution rights, while in Chennai it sold them to a trusted lieutenant of dmk leader M. Karunanidhi, T. Nagar District Secretary J. Anbhazhagan, for Rs 27 crore. With a projected Tamil theatrical box office revenue of Rs 88 crore, the film will make more than a tidy profit. With 3,000 screens multiplied by four shows a day and at least 500 seats per show, the number of people who watched The Robot nationwide on opening day was an astounding 15 lakh. Add to all this Rs 20 crore earned by the Sun Network channels from the movie's promotional programmes, with ad costs averaging Rs 35,000 for 10 seconds.

This story is simple enough. It's the war between man and machine. Rajinikanth is Vazikaran, the Cornell and Stanford trained scientist who creates Chitti, a robot who will replace soldiers, by acting and thinking like a human. But he falls in love with Aishwarya, a medical student named Sana, who is already in love with Vazikaran. Naturally there is an evil Green Goblin kind of scientist, Bohra, played by Danny, who wants to exploit this weakness in Chitti's silicon heart.
The last 40 minutes is a real celebration for Rajini fans, as he struts on screen as Chitti, upgraded version 2.0, enjoying his wickedness, morphing from snake to giant man to enormous tower in one breath, intent on creating a new species, Robo sapiens. Industry sources say around Rs 50 crore was spent on the last 40 minutes and Rs 3 crore was spent for Rajinikanth's make-up alone. The sets for the climax cost Rs 5 crore. Beats zari borders and San Francisco skylines anytime.
"There are 1,500 CG shots in the film, of which 200 are complicated shots. Twenty-two scenes of the movie have been shot using animatronics and special make-up," says director Shankar, who last worked with Rajinikanth on Sivaji: The Boss. Everything is in excess. Fifty-seven costumes for Aishwarya and 55 for Rajinikanth were designed by Mary E. Vogt; dance moguls like Prabhu Deva, Raju Sundaram and Lawrence Raghavendra choreographed the five songs; and the locations varied from Vienna to Machu Picchu in Peru. Having raised the bar with The Robot, Rajinikanth will now have to do bigger and better. "After Chandramukhi in 2005, he was a superstar not just for Kollywood but also a top actor for the international audience," says software professional Simply Sundar, who also runs a fansite devoted to Rajinikanth. The actor's registered fan base has now crossed two crores, with 50,000 registered fan clubs and 50,000 unregistered.

Trivia
The Maths Of Magic
Budget RS 200 crore, including Rs 45 crore to Rajinikanth, Rs 50 crore on promotion and Rs 6 crore to Aishwarya Total revenue in first two weeks Rs 300 crore, including Rs 88 crore from Tamil theatrical, Rs 50 crore from overseas rights, Rs 23 crore from Hindi rights, Rs 27 crore from Telugu rights, Rs 25 crore from satellite rights, Rs 17 crore from home video, Rs 10 crore from audio rights Total number of prints 2,250 across 3,000 screens
With 3,000 screens multiplied by four shows a day, the number of people who watched the film nationwide on the opening day was 15 lakh.

The world will end in 2012

Several experts from across the globe are predicting that the earth is likely to end by the year 2012. The reason could be a human effect or natural disaster. From Chinese theories to scientific predictions the most likely date is the year 2012

SCIENTIFIC EXPERTS from around the world are predicting that five years from now, all life on Earth could well come to an end. Some are saying it’ll be humans that would set it off. Others believe that a natural phenomenon will be the cause. And the religious folks are saying it’ll be God himself who would press the stop button. The following are some likely arguments as to why the world would end by the year 2012.

Reason One: The atom smasher

Scientists in Europe have been building the world’s largest particle accelerator. Basically, its a 27 km tunnel designed to smash atoms together to find out what makes the universe tick. However, the mega-gadget has caused serious concern, with some scientists suggesting that it’s properly even a bad idea to turn it on in the first place. They’re predicting all manner of deadly results, including mini black holes. So when this machine is fired up for its first serious experiment in 2012, the world could be crushed into a super-dense blob the size of a basketball.

Reason Two: Sun storms

Solar experts from around the world monitoring the sun have made a startling discovery. Our sun is in a bit of strife. The energy output of the sun is, like most things in nature, cyclic and it’s supposed to be in the middle of a period of relative stability. However, recent solar storms have been bombarding the earth with lot of radiation energy. It’s been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity is predicted to get worse and calculations suggest it’ll reach its deadly peak sometime in 2012.

Reason Three: Mayan calendar

The first to predict 2012 as the end of the world were the Mayans, a bloodthirsty race that were good at two things -- building highly accurate astrological equipment out of stone and sacrificing virgins.

Thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out. The Mayan calendar predicts that the earth will end on December 21,2012. Given that they were pretty close to the mark with the lunar cycle, it’s likely they’ve got the end of the world right as well.

Reason Four: The Bible says it

If having scientists warning us about the end of the world isn’t bad enough, religious folks are getting in on the act as well. Interpretations of the Christian Bible reveal that the date for Armageddon, the final battle between good and evil, has been set for 2012. The I Ching, also known as the Chinese Book of Changes, says the same thing, as do various sections of the Hindu teachings.

Reason Five: Super volcano

Yellowstone National Park in United States is famous for its thermal springs and old faithful geyser. The reason for this is simple -- it’s sitting on top of the world’s biggest volcano and geological experts are beginning to get nervous sweats. The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting every 650,000 years or so, and we’re many years overdue for an explosion that will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the big bang.

Reason Six: Earth’s magnetic field

We all know the Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field that shields us from most of the sun’s radiation. What you might not know is that the magnetic poles we call north and south have a nasty habit of swapping places every 750,000 years or so -- and right now we’re about 30,000 years overdue. Scientists have noted that the poles are drifting apart roughly 20-30 kms each year, much faster than ever before, which points to a pole-shift being right around the corner. While the pole shift is under way, the magnetic field is disrupted and will eventually disappear, sometimes for up to 100 years. The result is enough UV outdoors to crisp your skin in seconds, killing everything it touches.

Reason Seven: The physicists

This one’s case of bog -- simple maths mathematics. Physicists at Berkely University have been crunching the numbers. They’ve determined that the earth is well overdue for a major catastrophic event. Even worse, they’re claiming that their calculations prove that we’re all going to die, very soon. They are also saying that their prediction comes with a certainty of 99 percent in 2012 just happens to be the best guess as to when it occurs.

*******SO THE END AS COME*******

Sorry, we don't want you, you are an MBA!!!

“We don't want to hire you……..”

“As you are an MBA, we fear you may not remain in this job for a long period. If you get a better job than this, you will surely jump to that. We incur heavy expenses in training each candidate joining us. So it will become a loss of expenses that we may incur by training you, if you do not remain in this job for long. ….Sorry gentleman…”

And I completed my fourth unsuccessful interview. This time it was a construction firm for the post of marketing executive. The only drawback for me is that “I am an MBA.” It is the same story with the other three interviews which I attended earlier. In these recessionary times, every company is highly cautious in recruiting candidates. As every company is trying to reduce its training expenses, selection becomes strict.

After completing my MBA in a B-grade MBA school, I joined a retail organisation where I was in charge of the stores. As it is an off- role position and the salary was very less (below Rs.6500!!) I decided to quit it after seven months. Otherwise, I can't start paying my education loans. Every month I need to pay a particular amount as loan repayment, which is more than what I got as salary from that job.

Even small companies are taking advantage of MBAs in this recession period. They get people like us for less salary. I attended one interview in an advertising agency in Kerala. They liked my profile and offered me a job there but there was a condition — in the first two months they would pay only Rs.2500 (they called it training period) and, after two months Rs.7000.They were avoiding the risk of hiring an MBA. Even if I quit that company after two months, they would have made me work for more than what they offered.

An excellent strategy. This is the situation faced by most of the MBAs coming from B-Grade and C-grade Business schools. This is not because we are poor in logical reasoning or decision-making, or lack leadership.

Choose Your Career

Immediately after 10th students have to choose their career all are thinking that it’s only after +2, But it’s not so the stream in which they are putted in will later be decides in +2 without even knowing why they are taking 1st or 2nd or 3rd group they are choosing, or on the force of their parents they are choosing. Most of the students choose 2nd group on their parents push the children may be having the intention of doing some other studies but, their parents wants them to be an engineer so they are been pushed to study that, But it must be not so.

The children should choose their career by them self, Parents must only say the good and bad that for example some students prefer doing MBA for that they may choose B.E. as base but some may choose B.Com or BBA as base that is a three course instead of a four year, this is a wise idea much similarly students aiming to do MBBS will go for B.E. If they fail to get the MBBS seat they totally forget about BDS which is a close substitute. This does not mean that the students must not take B.E. But now the essence of the degree is totally reduced.

In the above show table it is clear that the life of the students been initially decided in 10th standard, thus it is necessary that a 10th students must know after +2 what course they are going to choose and how will their career be, In above table 1st Group means – Pure Science (Bio., Phy.,Che.,Maths) 2nd Group means – Computer Science(Phy.,Che.,Comp.,Maths) and 3rd Group means – Commerce(Comm.,Acc.,Eco.,B.Maths or Comp) I request all parents not to force, But it is there prime duty to explain the above chart and left the rest in students hand For a great future.

Hit-out Corruption

Corruption when I come to know about this word I thought it’s a simple word but now it’s not so…

In Government:

Government office is the birth place for this corruptions R.T.O. office, Employment office, Ration shop, Police station, Traffic, Politicians etc. Most of the R.T.O. office “sorry” ALL THE R.T.O. offices in India are corrupting and if you go to police station for filing a complaint against this there starts the real trouble they are the real corruptors I am not blaming all but most of them are like this.

Once I was caught by the traffic police without helmet I asked excuse and felt sorry for my act I thought he will file a charge sheet against me but he said “In court 200rs. With me 100rs make your choose “ I paid the 200rs for my act and left the police who must look on to corruption itself corrupting you can see this very often in most parts of India when comes to politics everybody knows about Indian Spectrum Auction Nets $14.6B.

In Non-Govt.:

Schools and colleges are corrupting in the name of donation and development fees now a day’s any one can join engineering mark is not a concern money does the engineering colleges are selling the seats for 2-8lks and this does not mean medical colleges are not corrupting recent news “The medical council head chairman was arrested by CBI for the Black money not 1 or 2 crores… 1800crores cash and 1500kg gold (around 250crs)… still their land properties haven’t yet calculated INDIA IS NOT A POOR COUNTRY THIS KIND OF ANTI-SMUGGLERS KEEPING OUR INDIAN RESOURCES” they are selling medical seat for 10-50lks because of this the standard of education has badly affected. A report says by 2030 every one in the country will be a engineer and all will be unemployed this is only in education beyond that the suspension of IPL chief replies to corruption charges, there are many non-govt. corruptions that in dark still soon all will come to light.

Causes of corruption

· Money getting blocked with a single person, like heart block

· Poor always remain poor

· Unemployment touching the sky

· The whole counter becoming poor

· Inflation goes to the peak

· Government debts increase etc.

Only way to stop corruptions is government interference but government itself corrupting …

My Solution: Have to see other corruption less northern countries and have the follow their ways.

ISRO’s GSLV D3 Mission – A Failure? Or A Stepping Stone?

It’s a sad coincidence that today’s failure of ISRO’s GSLV D3 Mission. Space missions are fraught with risks and failures. ISRO has had a reasonably good track record, especially if you compare it with the early days of the USA and USSR Space Programs. And ISRO has been able to achieve success on a literal shoe-string budget as compared to what the other space leaders have spent.

What is the big deal with the Cryogenic Engine? A Cryogenic Engine uses a liquid propellant (typically liquid hydrogen) that is stored at a very low temperature (below –200 C). The other engines that have been used in ISRO’s rockets (including the first two stages of today’s mission) are solid fuel propellant based. Cryogenic Engines deliver a longer duration and more powerful thrust, per unit weight of propellant. They can also be controlled more effectively as compared to solid fuel propellant engines. Hence Cryogenic Engines are critical, as the range and weight capabilities of space mission’s increase. GSLV rocket has been designed to put heavy payloads (communication satellites, etc.) into a ‘Geo-Synchronous’ orbit (36,000 km orbit around the from earth). It will also provide a basis for future ISRO Missions to the Moon and beyond.

A little after 4:30pm IST, a huge cloud of gloom descended upon ISRO. The first two stages had performed per expectations. However the 3rd stage powered by the cryogenic engine failed and the flight deviated from its desired path.

I am confident that ISRO will bounce back successfully from today’s failure, with the 2nd test flight due later this year. The data and results will be analyzed and corrective actions taken and soon India will join as 6th country of own Cryogenic Engine. Let’s not forget the spectacular success of the recent Chandrayaan Mission!!!

Indian Court

Constitution of India

One of the oldest and strongest constitution in the world. BUT there are nearly 30 million cases pending in Indian courts particularly in Madras High Court (406,958 pending cases) and Bombay High Court (362,949) were the others with a large number of pending cases.

If a person put a case by the age of 20yrs hopefully he may complete it by the age of 80yrs in some cases even there grandsons and daughter only will complete the cases most of the people afraid to go to court because of these DEAD SLOW this is one of the major reason for keeping India in a top rank of corruption, instead of going to court rich people prefer corrupt. And poor don’t know what to do.

Will the condition change?

People started abrading of the word vaidya when this word will vanish in court

Solution

  • A time period must be allotted/fixed for cases (for civil cases maximum 2yrs for criminal cases maximum 1yrs) likewise, Accordingly
  • If a case exceeds the time limit they must increase number of judges handling the case
  • Must increase the number of courts and judges
  • Everything must be computerized and people must be given a login in which end to end cases status must be updated(this may increase employment and takes court inside people home, if it happens the site will beat Google in terms of Visitors)
  • In every ministry a ministry advisor must be appointed(He must be a youngster and a Indian Institute of Management IIM graduate)

We have seen the big holes in the constitution and also given solutions to fill up these holes. Hopefully we will see will it come true or the number of pending cases increase now everything in the hands of Politicians and Journalists…

Parents Careless, Children Playful!!!!!!!

Parents should be always behind a child until he/she completes his teenage watching there each and every steps and also to make them and lead them in to the way of successes, Technological Advancement as many good stuffs at the same time it does bad, in a really bad manner its a knife How we use it is matters, In recent days mobile phones where popular and playing a lead role even School children where seen using mobile very frequently. Are they really using it for calling/sms when we look closely the answer i found is NO!

Vast number of cyber crimes and unwanted/obscene visuals been viewed and shared amongst the children and youth, so mobile phone is the closest killer Next its none other than computers with/without internet connection.

We can say a system with internet connection is the most powerful killer of youth mind, A report says that the most searched sites are Adult sites when these children see this kind of unwanted and obscene visuals they become addicted and indulge in bad activities so, "I am not saying this is wrong, But it is wrong when it is not at the right age". As also said in Tamil as "பிஞ்ஜில பழுத்துசி" so the guidance of the parents on their children should always be there to shape their children future.

Message For Children :- "Seeing Obscene/unwanted Visual May not Kill You but your future"

Message For Parents :- "Guide your children and always be behind them"

Message For Adult-youth :- "Always have a eye around you ;)"

We Killed a Species - Chennai Has Zero Sparrows

A wide array of predators feed on the House Sparrow, with cats and birds of prey being predominant. In India, nearly every species of bird of prey has been recorded preying on the House Sparrow. Accipiters and the Merlin in particular are major predators, though house cats likely make a greater impact on House Sparrow populations. Other predators include corvids, smallersquirrels.it is the species most frequently found dead.

In Chennai: As the pollution in our city has increasing rapidly (Mostly by the City Auto's) Sparrows was been totally vanished just answer my question When you seen the house sparrows last time, my answer for this question is before 3 or 4 years no there are no sparrows in our city we are the only cause for this, our ecocycle has already broken when this birds disappear in the city.

This may be the starting point of other species life and finally it will also touch "Homo sapiens" Wonder what is this its our Human (click n check) Species...

The media has been very supportive and has covered the plight of House Sparrows from time to time which has helped in creating lot of awareness at both local and national level for which I thank them all. In order to create more awareness and provide scientific information on the decline of House Sparrows I have created this website. I am not a profeesional web designer kindly excuse me for any mistakes or inconvinience caused while navigating through the webpages and kindly bring the same to my attention so that I can improve this website.

Common House Sparrows are declining through out the world and the same is the case of India. Where wide spread reports are comming from different parts of the country. The situation is serious as House Sparrows are indicators of the environment and the decline indicates that there is something seriously wrong with the environment in which we all live. Many resons may have contributed for the decline of House Sparrows like increasing use of pesticides, lack of insect food, lack of nesting sites, lack of food and the electromagnetic waves from mobile towers. we all hope so that we'll stop polluting our city and save this kind of species at the end of their life.

Wife Wins The Race - 1st Women Director To Get Oscar

If success is the best revenge, then it looks like director Kathryn Bigelow is really raking it in. James Cameron's ex-wife (who was married to the famed director before he reportedly left her for "Terminator" actress Linda Hamilton) one-upped her old hubby last night in the awards race when she won Oscar Best Director Award for "The Hurt Locker"

The former spouses have gone head-to-head this season for their films, the culmination of which will be at BAFTA And although Cameron may have looked like the front-runner for the Oscar this year after winning the Golden Globe for his film “Avatar,” Kathryn snagged the Directors’ Guild Award only days later, and the two have been on even playing field ever since.
